Our cabins are made by one of the largest cabin manufacturing companies in Europe who produce over 20,000 log cabins a year. They are also one of the few companies that are ISO 9001 registered to ensure consistent quality of manufacture.
All of the log cabins are made from timber is slow grown Nordic Spruce, which is used because of its long life span, structural resistance and aesthetic appeal. To ensure that your cabin will be strong and long lasting, we only use 44mm or 70mm thick logs. And the timber is all sourced from sustainable forests and FSC certified.
As well as selecting the best quality timber, all of our cabins are supplied complete with
Impregnated bearers to protect against rot and to extend the life of the cabin.
18mm roof and floorboards for greater strength.
Storm braces or threaded rod to protect the cabins against high winds.
Fixing and assembly instructions.
All windows used in our cabins are double glazed, with two panes of 3mm glass and a 6mm air gap for greater insulation.
They are also fitted as standard with an Aluminium water gutter to prevent water entering.
Windows have both a conventional opening and also a tilt and turn facility, allowing in fresh air without the window being fully open.
They also have a multipoint locking system for additional security.
Some windows have the option of glazing crossbars which are easily removable for painting and maintenance.
